My daughter is 8 and loves all the beautiful dresses! I sized up so she can outgrow them and play longer. The dress is a size 13 and she usually wears a 12 so this dress is a little bigger than she is. You may want to order a size up. She loves it and there is a lining sewn into the dress so she won't complain about it being uncomfortable. Great purchase!!
